The New York Breast Reconstruction Alliance (nyBRA) is a program of coordinated efforts founded by a group of plastic surgeons dedicated to improving quality outcomes and quality of life for individuals undergoing breast reconstruction. These efforts include state-of-the-art surgery offered through their plastic surgery practice, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, PC, the educational website BreastReconstruction.org, and the training of future generations of breast reconstruction surgeons through the Microsurgery Fellowship Match. Through their unique Patient Empowerment Program, they provide support services for their patients facing mastectomy, and through their work in community service, they focus on fundraising for breast cancer research, promoting breast reconstruction awareness and access to care.
